Crudup was born on the 8th of July in 1968. His birthplace is New York, US. The American actor was the second son of his mother, Georgann Crudup and father, Thomas Crudup. He has a younger brother named brooks and an elder brother named Tommy. He went to the Saint Thomas school and completed his graduation in 1986.

In 1996, Billy Crudup began his professional career in acting when he did the ole of Tommy Marcano in the movie ‘sleepers’. After that, he played a lead role as Steve Prefontaine in the film “without limits”. Billy also acted as the English version in the animated movie Princess Mononoke in 1999. He started to gain fame after his lead role in “Jesus’ son”. For his role, Billy won so many awards and good reviews from the audience. In 2018, Billy Crudup was attending a BAFTAs after part with Naomi watts, who is his colleague, but it was found that she was his new girlfriend.
