William Edward Crystal is professionally known as Billy Crystal and is a well-known television host, actor, producer, singer, comedian, and writer based in America. Billy was born in 1948 on 14th March in Manhattan. He moved to New Long along with his family on Long Island when he was a toddler. His mother was Helen Crystal, and Jack Crystal and his father operates a piece of music stored named Commodore Music Store. Julius Gabler, the father of Helen, founded the music store. Billy’s father was also a producer, executive of a jazz record label named Commodore Records.
He attended Temple Emanu-El in New York, where he worked as a Bar Mitzvahed. Because his father was a jazz promoter, the popular jazz-artists named Eddie Condon, Wee Russell, Billie Holiday, and more used to visit his home. Billy completed his graduate studies in 1965 from Long Beach High School, New York. He later joined the Marshall University of West Virginia.

Career Beginnings
Crystal was a part of a trio with his friends, and this trio used to perform at coffee houses and colleges. Not only has this, but Crystal also worked as a teacher in New York. Later, he began to perform solo and got the opportunity to perform at Catch a Rising Star and The Improv. Billy also appeared in television series titled All in the Family.
