Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, was born on 25th September 1983, and he is a prominent American comedian, actor, singer, producer, rapper, director, and writer. He worked for Derrick Comedy while he was at New York University. Tina Fey then found him, and she hired him to work for 30 Rock in NBC as a writer. He then rose to prevalence on an NBC sitcom named Community, where he acted from 2009 till 2014, portraying a college student named Troy Barnes. Donald was born in Edwards Air Force Base, situated in California, and his father was stationed there. He was then raised in the Stone Mountain area in Georgia. Career Beginning
David Miner finally found Gover in 2006 after he sent writing samples for The Simpsons. Tina Frey and Miner were significantly impressed by the work of Glover and eventually hired him as a writer on 30 Rock, an NBC sitcom. Glover has also made cameo appearances for 30 rock as well since 2006 till 2009. Glover went on to represent the Writers Guild of America and won an award for Best Comedy Series for working on the third season in 2008. Glover did audition to be on Saturday Night Live and play the role of President Barack Obama, but it wasn’t that successful. He then joined a sketch comedy group named Derrick Comedy while attending New York University. Then he appeared on YouTube sketches since 2006 besides Meggie McFadden, Dominic Dierkes, DC Pierson, and Dan Eckman.
