Elise Marie Stefanik was born on 2nd July 1984 in Albany, New York. Her parent’s names are Melanie Stefanik and Ken Stefanik. They own a chain of Premium Plywood Products and sell them in GuilderlandCentre. She completed her graduation from the Albany Academy for Girls, and after that, she got enrolled in Harvard University. She got a degree in Government from there in the year 2006. While studying there, she got the Women’s Leadership Award. After completing her education, she started working in the administration department of President George W. Bush. She worked as director of New Media for Tim Pawlenty and contributed to making the Republican Platform in 2012.

Career beginning
Elise announced her candidacy in August 2013 for the United States House of Representatives in the 2014 election. In the year 2014, she defeated Matt Doheny with a difference of 61 to 39 percent votes. Then she went to face Matt Funiciello and Aaron Woolf in the General election and defeated both of them. It made her the youngest woman to get elected to Congress at the age of 30. In the year 2016, she stood for re-election and gave her support to Donald Trump after his win in 2016. Elise said that they were having a drink at the lakeside when Matthew went on his knees and proposed to her. They both got married in August 2017 in Saratoga Springs.
