Joseph Guillermo Jones II is called as Jim Jones. He is an American record executive, video director, and rapper. Jones is the original member of Diplomats, hip hop collective. Not only the original member, but he is also the co-CEO of Dipset Records. He is also a music video director of CAPO and has directed multiple videos for different artists such as Remy Ma, State Property, and Juelz Santana.
For the first time in 2004, Jonas released an album entitled On My Way to Church, and he released a second album named Harlem: Diary of Summer. In 2006, he released his single named “We Fly High,” which positioned at #5 on Billboard Hot 100 and got certified by RIAA as platinum.
Early Life
Jon was born on 15th July 1976 in The Bronx, New York City. Jonas’s mother is Nancy Jones, Aruban, and his father is Joseph Guillermo Jones, Puerto Rican. His father died, and his mother was busy with work, and this is the reason why the maternal grandmother of his raised him. Jones stated in Fader magazine that he was allowed by his mother to travel the train at their residence. He completed his studies at Catholic school.
He grew up with Freekey Zekey, a fellow rapper. Jones stated that he stayed at a block from the church and then hung out with the church owner. When the owner of the church left, Jones stole all his money and sold all the candies of him in school.

The debut album of Jones entitled On My Way to Church got ranked in Billboard Hip-Hop/Hot R&B songs chart. The two singles of the album named “Crunk Muzik” and “Certified Gangstas” reached number 8 and 84. The second album of Jones entitled Harlem: Diary of a Summer got positioned at #5 on Billboard 200 and sold more than 350,000 copies. Three singles of the second album titled “Baby Girl,” “What You Been Drankin’ On?” and “Summer Wit’ Miami” got positioned on Billboard Hip-Hop Songs/ R&B chart.
Jones collaborated with Byrdgang and released an album named M.O.B: The Album, which ranked #29 on Billboard 200 and sold more than 16000 copies of the album in the first week. He then released albums of Christmas compilation named “A Tribute to Bad Santa” and “A Dipset X-Mas,” which starred Mike Epps and other multiple mixtapes that included American Gangster of Harlem and got positioned at #19 on Billboard 200.

Along with the release of different albums, there are multiple ventures that were formed or joined by Jim Jones.
