Early Life
Epps is the son of Tommy Epps and Mary Reed. He was born in 1970 on 18th November and was raised by his parents in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was fond of comedy and always wanted to become a stand-up comedian. In 1994, he moved to Brooklyn to start his career by working in Def Comedy Jam. Def Comedy Jam has helped Epps start his career, and later on, he joined broadcasts of Def Comedy jam by HBO.

Career Beginnings
The starting of his journey was from Def Comedy Jam that he started in 1955, and later, he was starred in broadcasts of Def Comedy Jam. Some of the disability campaigners condemned him for disrespecting mentally and physically disabled children. The Year 1997 was a turning point in Epps career as for the first time he made his on-screen appearance in Strays, the directorial debut by Vin Diesel.
He has also done voice role in movies including Dr. Dolittle 2, and through his voice role, he got a featured role in How High for amusing pimp Baby Powder. Epps voiced a bear character in Open Season 2 film and has released special comedy series named Under Rated and Never Faded. He got the opportunity to host the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards. Epps starred Whitney Houston and Jordin Sparks in the remake version of the film Sparkle.
In movies and comedy shows and series, Epps has also played a small part in a song by Hurricane Chris entitled A Bay Bay. He also appeared in a video made by Westside Connection entitled “Gangsta Nation.” Along with Pooh Bear, Epps releasing a track named “Trying to be a Gangsta.” In the 2012 Super Bowl, for Indianapolis, he served as “Super Bowl Ambassador” and also been featured in many of the commercials that were made to promote Super Bowl Village. Epps had some issues with LaVar Walker, a standup comedian, as he made a comedy video about Epps and his friend Kevin Hart. It was reported that Epps and his bodyguards assaulted Walker by punching him in the back and stomach.
