In the year 1988, MacDonald married Connie Vaillancourt, and now he has a cute son named Dylan, who was born in 1993. Both of them were separated in 1999.

In a TV show, MacDonald revealed that he had a gambling addiction. He said that he wasted all his money on gambling as he lost in three games. As per his statement, once he lost $400,000 in a gambling game. In the year 2007, MacDonald took part in the World poker Series, and he got 20th place out of 827 players from all around the world.

Career

MacDonald began his career as a comedian by performing stand-up comedy at a comedy club in Ottawa. He also appeared in amateur nights at Yuk Yuks in 1985. In 1986, he was heralded as the country’s hottest comics. In 1990, he also began performing for the show Star Search as a contestant.
