Latifah’s older brother was killed in 1992 in a motorcycle accident. Since then, she still wears the key to the motorcycle that was driven by his brother. She also dedicated the Black Reign album to her brother. Latifah has also been a victim of a carjacking, which led to the killing of her boyfriend.
