Luke Albert Combs is an American songwriter and country music singer. Combs released two albums of 10 singles for Columbia Nashville for which the nine out of 10 positioned number 1 on Country Airplay chart of Billboard named: “She Got the Best of Me,” “Beer Never Broker My Heart,” “Lovin’ on You,” “One Number Away,” “Beautiful Crazy,” “Even Though I’m Leaving,” “When It Rains It Pours,” “Hurricane” and more.
Early Life
Combs was born on 2nd March 1990 in Charlotte, North Carolina. When he turned 8, he shifted to Asheville, North Carolina, along with his family members. Since childhood, he was attracted to singing and performed as a vocalist in his school. After moving to A. C. Reynolds High School, he discovered that he loves playing football and performed many vocal groups. He also performed a solo vocal in Carnegie Hall, a world-renowned place.
He then worked as a bouncer while being at Appalachian State University. For the first time in University, he played a country music show at Parthenon Café. Combs dropped his senior year because he wanted to pursue a country music career, and for that, he shifted to Nashville, Tennessee.

Music Career Beginnings
In February 2014, for the first time, Combs released his EP entitled The Way She Rides, and in the same year, he released the second EP named Can I Get an Outlaw. His first single titled “Hurricane” was released in 2016, which ranked 46 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and there were more than 15000 copies sold in the first week.
Combs worked along with Song Music Nashville by signing a deal with them. He released his debut single named This One’s for you, “Hurricane” got re-released in Nashville. After re-releasing Hurricane, it was positioned at number one on the country radio airplay chart in 2017.
In 2019, Grand Ole Opry invited Combs to become the new member of the group. An album of Combs entitled What You See Is What You Get got released in 2019. The singles of the album include “Does to Me,” “Even Though I’m leaving,” and “Beer Never Broker My Heart,” a duo with Eric Church reached number one. The single entitled “Six Feet Apart” was released by Combs in 2020 and become quite popular. This single exemplified the challenges of life that happen during the covid pandemic.
