Betty embarked on her career in financial Journalism as she started working as a regional correspondent as the youngest Taiwan Bureau Chief. After quitting the job at Dow Jones Newswires, she joined Financial times and worked there as the Bureau Chief for several years. She handled some of the most popular stories there, such as Douglas Daft, former US president Jimmy Carter and many more. Later, Betty returned to Asia and started anchoring for CNBC Asia and covered several morning shows of CNBC, such as the Squawk Box. She also wrote few magazines during her career.
