Career beginning
Bruford started his career at the age of 19 when he moved to a flat in North London. He advertised drum work in Melody Maker. Surprisingly, the advertisement was noticed by the singer Jon Anderson who was a working rock band named Mabel Greer’s Toyshop. He planned to replace the position of the existing drummer with Bruford. Bruford was having some creative talent when it comes to playing the drum, which impressed Anderson, and he invited him to play the drum at the show in Rachel Mcmillan college in Deptford.
