Maynard James Keenan is an American musician, actor, winemaker, singer, record producer, artist, singer, and martial artist. He is popular as a primary lyricist and lead singer of the band Tool. Along with the band Tool, Keenan released the most popular studio albums. He has worked with Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, and rock band Tool.
James Keenan is from Ohio and completed his school and graduation from Michigan. After completing his graduation, he joined Army and then joined Kendall College of Art and Design of Michigan. After completing his studies, he discovered his interest in air and therefore joined Kendall College of Art and Design of Michigan. He then moved to Massachusetts, where he practiced interior design for a pet store. Keenan then moved to Los Angeles for a job but was fired. He then started to work in set construction.
He wrote his first single, “Sober,” which got successful and then recorded and performed live with Green Jello with a rock band Tool. Keenan was a huge fan of Adam Jones in his college days, and after shifting to Los Angeles, he met Adam Jones. He was so impressed with the vocals of Keenan and advised him to form a band with him.
