Beth Hart was born on 24th January 1972 in Los Angeles, California. She started learning piano when she was merely four years old. In the initial stage, she followed the classical works of legendary musicians such as Beethoven, Bach, etc. As she enhances her skills and knowledge, she started taking inspiration from other artists such as Led Zeppelin, Etta James, Otis Redding, etc. In one of her interviews, she revealed that her dad left when she was a kid. The worse part was that he was highly involved in the lives of her other brothers and sisters, but he refused to enter hers, which hurt her the most. Career beginning
Beth started singing in her high school after being prompted by one of her classmates. She used to sing at open mics held in the Belly Room of the Comedy Store. Then, she started playing clubs, and it was then when she met Jimmy Khouri and Tal Herzberg, and she recorded her first track, Beth Hart and the Ocean of Soul, with them in 1993. The same year, she was seen on the popular TV show, ‘Star Search,’ and also won the Female Vocalist Competition. She got a deal with Atlantic Records after the show, but Beth claimed that it was not because she won the show as she already spent most of the money she won.
Hart’s first album was released in 1999 and was the top hit in New Zealand. It was a great start to her career, and after that, she released back-to-back albums; ‘Leave the Light On’ in 2003, ‘Live at Paradiso’ in 2005, ’37 Days’ in 2007, and ‘My California’ in 2010. She was also nominated for the Grammy Awards in 2014.

Beth Hart is married to Scott Guetzkow, who is also her Road manager. They are currently living in Los Angeles. She has some issues related to bipolar disorder and drug addiction in the past, but she overcame them.
