Early Life

The Trick was born in Miami at the Jackson Memorial Hospital, and his mother’s name was Pearn Brockington. She raised him besides ten sisters and brothers in Liberty Square. They grew up in an apartment complex after they relocated from Goulds in Florida. People named the building collection in pork and beans because the apartment door colors matched the feeling.

Career Beginning

Trick made appearances with Luther Luke Campbell in Scarred’s track, released by 2 Live Crew former members. The way was produced by Rudnick DJ Spin, and it was from an album named Uncle Luke, released by Luke Campbell in 1996. The song was a significant success and caught the attention of record producers and fans immediately. Ted Lucas signed the rapper to his newly formed record label and concert promotion named Slip-N-Slide. The Trick released his breakout album under the label in 1997 called Based on a True Story, and the album became supremely prominent in the Miami neighborhood.
